Because of Her, We Can (Print)

This artwork was inspired by the 2018 NAIDOC theme: Because of Her, We Can.
The main feature in this artwork is a silhouette of an Aboriginal woman. She represents the countless and invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made, and continue to make, to our communities, our families, our rich history, and to our nation.
The woman in this artwork is exposed, adorned with traditional body art, as she draws her strength, courage, wisdom and beauty from the Elders who have come before her.
Surrounding her are countless group of circles in pinks and blues to represent the thousands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who have paved the way for future generations.  

Specifications

The unframed and unmatted print will be individually signed and carefully packaged in a plastic protective sleeve. The smaller sizes will be sent flat in the sturdy rigid mailer, and larger prints will be sent rolled up in a mailing tube.

This print comes in standard and deluxe editions. Please make sure you check the listing before submitting your order.
Standard - 255gsm lustre photo paper with a pearlescent (semi gloss) finish
Deluxe - 310gsm fine art paper with slightly textured matte finish
